The Demand Transition Framework.

Two questions place a company on this map: how mature is its customer base, and how repeatable is its business model? Seven European space companies from Edition 001 are placed this way. Select a position for the explanation; the arrows show the two routes the case study discusses.

Customer base  ·  institutional → recurring
Business model  ·  one-off project → repeatable product
→ productise first (A→C→D)  ·  ↑ mature demand first (A→B→D)

This map describes seven European companies studied in Edition 001, using public sources. Positions are ordinal, and the seven were chosen for variety rather than to represent the sector. The 205 company observations in the two other datasets, 105 websites and 100 companies in the historical hiring panel, describe vacancies and website communication; they do not independently validate the framework and may include the same companies. The framework supports claims about sequence and position, never causality. Full analysis in Research & method.
